My wife loved it so much we're considering the possibility of going back for the month of June. :D

So the judge set your trial for June, eh? :P

Actually, I'm being extradited. I had no idea that, when Panama signed the FATCA stupidity, they had slipped in an extradition treaty on page 6 that went unnoticed.

DAMN IT!!

Out of curiosity, have you crazy kids considered trying a new destination to check out or are you sold on Panama for good? Nothing against Panama, but just wondered as there are a plethora of choices down there.

We've been to a few countries in the Caribbean, which is my "I need to vegetate" getaway, and some Latin American countries like Chile and Peru. What I like about Panama is its modern infrastructure, accessibility, safety and simply a nice place to spend a long period without breaking the bank. There are plenty of resorts within driving distance along both oceans for weekend getaways. The food is fantastic and, again, it's light on the wallet whether you're out for some fine dining or stocking up the fridge. From Panama I can either drive or take a cheap flight to either Costa Rica or Colombia, which we're planning to do as well.

During the fall we may be heading to Belize for a couple weeks. Aruba has been done to death by everyone I know, so, it doesn't really pique my curiosity.

Christmas, however, I want to do something nice for my wife. I was thinking maybe Monaco for a week or two. I'll even wear a stupid bow tie and take my martinis shaken, not stirred.

Martinis in Monaco cost $16.00 EACH (on the average). :) Go for Monte Carlo or even the Seychelles or perhaps the new uber-enclaves forming in Singapore. Even Dubai might be cool. :)

Monte Carlo is part of the principality of Monaco, bro. Same place. :D

Seychelles is nice but, if I'm going that far, it'll be Maldives where the water & sand is pristine and they have those gorgeous over-water bungalows that are open to the sea.

Asia is on the radar, too.

I'm not too compelled to visit any Muslim region, including Dubai. Aside from the fact that everything is stupid expensive there, the laws are so convoluted I don't know what couples can and can't do in public or, even if I did know, some habits die hard like tapping the wife on the butt.

I know (bolded). One is on the other side of the other, only an elevator ride away. :). My brother has been there a few times. But the casinos and the crowds are in Monaco mostly, from what he says. Have you hears about the new diggs they have set up in Singapore? Its the "new thing" for jetsetters. :)

I'd consider Singapore but would find out all the local laws and customs first. Some years back it was considered very repressive and draconian. No gum chewing if you can believe it, and that's just one example of their strictness. Fines are steep for what we'd consider to be minor infractions.

That said, it looks beautiful and would be an amazing place to visit I'm sure.

The whole principality is Monaco. Monte-Carlo is a district but the most populous. It's pretty much where all the action is. :)

Yeah, but I'm pretty far from being a jetsetter, bro. :icon_lol:

I've looked at Singapore for its ultra-modern infrastructure and its favorable tax laws on worldwide income as well as accessibility, with English being one of its official languages.

Thailand has some gorgeous beaches, by the way, with clear blue water.

Yeah, but travel to Thailand has died in the ass since the production of this T-shirt:

According to Ape, I'd fit right in. :icon_lol:

It's on my list of places to go. The wife is just like me when it comes to travel. She loves exploring new countries and cultures.

My wife's birthday is coming up and I was thinking of surprising her with a Caribbean trip. Any thoughts on St Maarten? Here's the place I'm looking at:

I like the level of isolation and privacy and proximity to the beach. I also like the idea of having my wife parading her fine-ass body totally bare around the pool in complete privacy all with a spectacular view.

Bah, my Island is bigger :D

Your island's creepy crawlies are also bigger. When I see Aussie bugs, I could almost believe I'm watching a documentary on the Jurassic age.

Here's one eating a carrot:
