Kepler-22b's radius is 2.4 times that of Earth, and the two planets have roughly similar temperatures. If the greenhouse effect operates there similarly to how it does on Earth, the average surface temperature on Kepler-22b would be 72 degrees Fahrenheit (22 degrees Celsius).

I'm a little confused about the term "alien planet" by the way. Seems to me like every planet besides earth is alien so it's pretty much a pleonasm. Unless they mean to say there's actually aliens living on it.

OMG, green for that word! I have a pretty extensive spoken vocabulary, but I have NEVER heard that word seen it used or written anywhere I love that word! I love the meaning too...it will send many a smug debater searching for its meaning.

Yes it's hard. Shaved is a master of fauxgasms. He mimics the color, the viscosity and the consistency in great detail. Unfortunately the only way to truly tell if it's real or not is by taste. I'm afraid you're just gonna have to take it like a man.
