The Philadelphia Phillies find themselves among the defendants in a lawsuit brought by a woman named Suzanne Peirce, who alleges she sustained myriad injuries after the Phanatic tossed her — lounge chair and all — into a pool at the Golden Inn of Avalon, N.J., the weekend she was attending her sister's wedding two years ago. All that's missing from this story is Tommy Lasorda and an ATV chase. There's YouTube video of the Phanatic engaging in certain "antics" at said inn, but no smoking gun. (Or dripping-wet lawsuit lady.)

At least they know where he'll be this summer - the authorities should snap the cuffs on him right there at the ballpark.

I'm not saying it's right to toss someone into a pool (replete with lounge chair, which is the part I truly love) but can any of us say that it's wrong??? Me thinks not. Now let's just sit back and drink our mojitos and watch this farce unfold.

I think Snooki would have won this lawsuit on her celebrity alone. Somehow I doubt that the poor lounge chair woman in question will be able to fight against the mighty corporate machine which props up the Phillie Phanatic. It is a travesty I say!
