Meh. I haven't noticed a real difference in the numbers of SGU fans when you compare Europe and North America. And European television isn't really worse than American tv. There's just less of it made with a significantly lower budget. We have some real gems like Rejseholdet, Doctor Who, Solsidan (an American remake currently being developed by ABC), and Spooks.

never saw Dr. Who- tried it once as a teen and it was too campy for me then! I don't watch much current tv anymore- too much shit on the screen. that is why I'd rather read a book or watch dvds.

many of the worst squeedrones I have seen on gw and syfy are from outside the usa esa- yourself for one, our beloved Tanith, and who can forget the ones like das, Lahela (gag), petra, yoshi, KEK/Jenks, oh hell go take a look at the rabid fans list!

And the US remake of Skins was so much better, I see...

I don't really understand why Europe and the USA have to copy off plots from each other, when these copies turn out to be horrible.
