Obscure, yet entertaining. Starhunter 2300

Okay, you want some cheese in your science fiction, but no soap? Give Starhunter 2300 a whirl. I decided to start searching the web for obscure series which somehow slipped through the cracks. Strangely, this show seemed to have a similar mainstream appeal with its science fiction as Stargate Universe. But its characters (largely unknowns) are attractive, young and hip, yet manage to be likable as well. Even the ship AI is more entertaining than any character on Stargate Universe. The effects are very very cool, if low budget. Interesting, imaginative designs add eye candy to this show. Worth a look!

I've seen most of season two - entertaining!

I saw most of season two of this on Hulu recently, I found it pretty entertaining. Haven't seen any of season one, though.

After SGU's depiction of the leather-chap Alliance, I actually wondered if they modeled the SGU Lucian Alliance after the Raiders on Starhunter 2300

Yeah, a pleasant surprise!

I saw most of season two of this on Hulu recently, I found it pretty entertaining. Haven't seen any of season one, though.

This little show was pretty good, despite the slightly cheesy plotlines. The CGI special effects are very cool. Lots of imagination went into this show. And the characters are not bad to look at. The ships look cool too. Even the music is cooler than SGPoo!

Never could get into it. Saw maybe 20 minutes combined of it over the years

Might check it out sooner or later.
