Jason Momoa was confirmed for the role of Aquaman in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" back in October.

Momoa claims the King of the Seven Seas will be a "bad-ass" superhero.

Apparently, Jason Momoa will hold the role for a long time as well. The actor has reportedly signed on for four DC movies as Arthur Curry a.k.a. Aquaman.

Dude needs to cut that hair. With dreads, he looks sorta cool and interesting. But with just long hair, he just looks like a generic surfer dude from Malibu.

I wonder if they are going to cut his hair short and dye it blond ala the comic or are they going to keep it dark and long because they want to go a different route?

As for Momoa, he never really did it for me but aesthetically he's not the worst choice for the role. Personally I think they would have made a better choice with Kellan Lutz as he looks more the part.

Aquaman was always blond. He should stay a blond. This Lutz fellow looks like he could easily be Aquaman. Im not seeing Momoa asthetically beyond his basic movie star handsome appearance. Aquaman was always blond. He should stay a blond. TRhis Lutz fellow looks like he could easily be Aquaman. Im not seeing Momoa asthetically beyond his basic movie star handsome appearance. One thing funny about Momoa's new scar...it suits him. He actually got insurance money for his "disfigurement" in that accident, but it gives him character and somehow makes him look more badass.

oh recently saw him in a movie about a serial killer- it was set up to make him seem to be the killer, but it turned out the real killer was his best friend.

I'd always thought your #1 guy was either everyone's favorite cliche pseudo bad guy and average D-lister Mike Dopud or even your irresistibly slim, 40" chest, "broad-shouldered" royal blah Prince Harry.

The DC film franchise so far has been way more erratic than its Marvel counterpart. For example the Tim Burton Batman was superb but they also gave us Jonah Hex and Batman and Robin (blech).

Hopefully they find a diamond in the rough here because based on recent outings Jason Momoa is the Megan Fox of action actors....
