I am just going to put this out but Sci-Trek is nothing more than a clickbait content as well. He has kept on promising that a stargate franchise is in the works for the past 3 years. But we have yet to hear from Amazon about it.
I'm glad you made this thread! I used to support those Fandom Menace channels when they first came out. Jeremy at Geeks and Gamers, Gary at Nerdrotic, even Doomcock and That StarWars Girl, but ALL of them started to grift as they got bigger. They formed some sort of clique like a consortium, and they basically thrive on fan-hate. I think I grew out of them. I am more a fan of Critical Drinker and even back to Red Letter Media for reviews now. Less hyperbole and personal attacks against actors and individuals in the Industry. I agree about Sci-Trek, who incidentally is always trying to mine me for information at X in the DMs
I like Midnight's Edge a lot still. Mostly the narrated episodes and not the panels.

Nowadays Nerdrotic is almost unwatchable. Midnight's Edge has informative videos. Dave Cullen actually does deeper dives into less famous media. Doomcock's Friday night show is outright funny as it is not about commentary but just a sort of evening at the improv. Critical Drinker is entertaining as his presentation is more like a skit.

It's become a cesspool of clickbait thumbnails. I think he has no choice otherwise his wife might leave him for good and he will have to pay child support.
Also, other shows have become that as well. If you look at the political channels or AI Youtube channels they've become sewage full of political clickbait thumbnails and titles like for example David Pakman, Brian Tyler-Cohen, Ben Ferguson, Dave Rubin, Candace Owens, and ben shapiro like this is from David Pakman's show. GLOBAL WAR explodes under Trump, DISASTER...............Telsa STOPS cybertruck deliveries, they're FALLING APART etc etc Over exaggerates things it feels like I am reading a tabloid newspaper title from the Daily Bugle of Spiderman.
