It occurs to me that no one is talking about Dumbinion. Not surprising as no one I know is watching it. I only notice it because they run commercials for it. And when they do I'm always a bit confounded as to why it's even a TV show. It's just so dumb.

Not that a Heaven vs. Hell story can't be interesting. It's just that this one really is stupid.

Considering the movie they based it off of was also phenomenally stupid it surprises no one that the show is stupid too.

Pylons are still at Defficance location to hold spots for stars trailers and equipment trucks but the town location is in lockdown and the parking lot looks like a ghost town . Not a soul anywhere , not even in the office ...

Pretty bizarre episode that is setting up their season finale I guess. One can already guess where this is going - they will have to deal with the Omec Harvester in orbit after they all wake up. Whatever...

After they actually gave us a character (the male Omec) we could almost root for they just kill him off. Murdered by his psychotic daughter. Meanwhile our "heroes" are all back together and no doubt will fight the awakened Omec in the finale. The Doc is an Omec servant and has been kidnapping people (now including Datak) to be Omec food. If only this were really interesting...

I was thinking the same thing about the Omec leader they killed off. It was a dumb thing to do because he was actually interesting to watch. And God knows the show lacks things that are interesting. (I could also do without the creepy sex couplings to be honest. They aren't titillating, they are just weird and gross.)

Only as long as Stahma is included in the act. Can't have Jaime Murray's talents being wasted in the background; certainly not when the writers can turn her into an immoral cat in heat.

Okay, I am going to predict the general story of the season finale two episodes in advance....

Our three stooges (Nolan, Irisa and Amanda) realize the only way to save the Earth is destroy the Omec Harvester. As usual every season, Nolan volunteers to carry a bomb aboard but everyone else notes he would never get near Kindzi much less on the Harvester. And so we come to the character who will be blown to bits to save Defiance.....

Doc Yuell.

They will of course have removed Kindzi's control device, and Doc will point out she can pose as controlled and Kindzi will let her board the Harvester so long as the reason makes sense. So, she boards it with a big bomb hidden in her body, frees the captives (including glasses guy who becomes the new Doctor) and blows herself up along with Kindzi and the Harvester.

Afterwards, everyone is celebrating and mourning Doc Yuell, except that in her office she left a piece of herself behind. Glasses guy finds it and regrows her....the end....

This last episode was pretty awful in my opinion. Not only do we have Kindzi now as all powerful (which raises another question - if eating her Father's heart now lets her shrug off bullets to the brain then how did she kill her father with a single knife thrust) but she is just stupidly evil. And of course after setting us up with an appealing Votan character it looked like they were going to pair Alik up with they just kill her - snapped her neck like a chicken bone. And Stahma who usually is clever was a dumb as a rock this whole episode. And finally, we now are starting to ship Nolan and Amanda.

At least Datak had a good set of scenes where he insulted the Doc into taking him out to be eaten, then used his new arm to kill an Omec followed by escaping.

Oh, and it looks like my prediction from upthread may come true....
