Holy CRAP !!! I'm going there in May . I was going to the ZR-1/ C4 Corvette 3 day event . As far as I know the event is still on but the museum part is off limits .
My reason for going ! I'm horny for a ZR-1 C4 Corvette . I raced one back in the 80's in the Escort Endurance Series and fell in love with the C4 .

PS /// just my point of view but I cannot stand the newer Corvettes designs . The C5,C6,C7 just don't look like corvettes to me and they have very poor dependabilty also . That ZO6 that they brag about blows up just after warranty . They also stole the Original ZR-1's name and gave it to the C6 version . The original ZR-1 /C4 has a Lotus engine inside and not a crappy GM motor . The new C7 stingray won't even start at a lot of dealers . A few people complained after leaving the dealership in there new $100,000. car breaking down within 10 miles of purchase lol .
The C4 ZR-1 Corvette in my mind is absolutely stunning inside and out and goes like snot also .
You can grab one right now for $20,000 more or less in some cases . I can't afford a ZR-1 right now but I am getting a regular C4 to start off with with my friend . We both are retired so we have to watch what we spend but sharing the car is the best way to go .
Very excited to drive one again . Trust me when I say they are lots of fun on a race track doing 145 mph on the straights and pulling 1 g in the corners ,,,woohoo . I won't be going on the track again but there are a few on ramps to the freeway that I can have fun on !!!

I like the C3, C4 and C5 Vettes, but the C6 sucks with those non-concealed headlamps. Now it does not look like a Vette much. Congrats on your C4!

My buddy has a 1984 Corvette and he's wanted us to go down to the museum for awhile now but neither of us has had the time. Seeing that sink hole open up is kind of freaky.

Not a fan of turbo charged engines . Also the LT5 is a better engine and has proven itself so it would be a better choice of engine for a corvette

At least the C5 and C6 have round tail lights going for them , but that's it lol . The C5 has a real huge ass end . The C7 has the front end of a Cavalier and the back is the exact copy of the camaro ,,,yuck yuck yuck . And did you also know that the LT5 engine of the ZR-1 C4 ( 1990 to 1995 ) has never been shared with any other GM product unlike every GM designed pushrod engine ! Now that's what makes the ZR-1 C4 a very exotic and sexy machine . You can stand a nickle on top of the motor , start the motor , and it won't fall over . No other engine in the world runs that smooth !!!
