I must disagree my friend...war has had it's uses...It created the first "freed" Colony- the USA, it sent Napoleon to Elba, it freed the American slaves, it freed Europe from Hitler. War is a nasty thing that should be avoided, but do NOT demean those that fought and won so that so many of us could be free today. The finest product of War is freedom.

Right! :beckettu:

There are "just" wars and "unjust" wars. Hitler started an unjust war against Poland, France, Russia... The allies who fought back waged a just war. Let's not throw everything together under the same hat in the name of some misguided utopianism. Only if the world were free of people like Hitler, Stalin, Hussein and countless others would war always be wrong and the worst alternative. And let's not dishonor the people who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy where most of us here live. Be them soldiers, revolutionaries or law enforcement :)
