Tyrconnell (not sure if spelling that right), but it's Irish, that's good stuff. I don't order whiskey in bars, I gave up on them.

You must be a picky whiskey drinker. We have excellent whiskey available in our bars in Delaware. But it does depend on what type of bar you go to.

7 & 7 always works for me...

Hey, I just saw on one of the news channels that Bin Laden had a huge stash of pornography in his hideout.

The phrase "whip them out and grab a tape measure" is coming to mind here. :icon_e_wink:

Unnecessary when the difference is visually obvious.

That sounds like a decent whiskey. Haven't had the pleasure of sampling it yet.
I'm friends with a local barkeep and he's also a whiskey enthusiast. That's why they have about 15 different single malts available besides the regular stuff like Jack Daniels or Famous Grouse. (which aren't really too bad in their own right either)

Tyrconnell is single malt, only way to go.

What's your favourite whiskey dear?

I don't have a favorite. But I did bartend for quite a few years when I was younger. We carried all but super top shelf in most places I worked at. I hate hard liquor. Used to like mixed vodka drinks but decided , it was better to just drink some wine sometimes.

Vodka is pretty similar to whiskey.
Except it often tastes like crap when you drink it straight up.

yeah, The closest I could ever get to that is maybe a Green Apple Martini or a Cosmo. My favorite vodkas were Grey Goose and Belvedere but I don't usually drink vodka anymore. If I had some in the house right now , that would taste really good though. Darn you, for making me think of that.
