To their credit Andor is doing a good job this season of paying off stuff they sent up earlier. Sadly the viewership seems to be pretty low.
"ratings" cannot be used as a metric in the way they used to be
i have not watched any of S2 yet- why? waiting for the entire 12 eps to load
a lot of people are like that
also, there are those who do not watch unless there is some level of "follow me" buzz (not real fans)
most SW's shows have had this- more following after the fact then while it is current -- and just what is current any longer in the world of on demand streaming?
corpo's want it to be what it was- like "who in what age group watched live" but those viewing habits really don't exist any longer
related-- i did re-watch all of S1 then I watched ROGUE 1 again. though both are great, doing so demonstrates why SW's series (or maybe any series) is better then a movie
no depth in movies,, everything must be exposed and played out in the run time of around 2 hrs, while even a 6 ep series gives far more room for deeper characters, development, more action, more of everything
an ex from ROGUE 1 is when they are getting ready to attack Scariff, and Baze tells Jyn something like "Good luck sister". meaning in the same way as "brothers" fighting together, indicating a long relationship. these two have no such relationship-- they just met.
in Andor S1 by contrast, Luthen and Andor do not even have that kind of relationship, and they have been through firefights together
i would love for them to not make ANY SWs movies.. to put them all in to Series form, so many more possibilities

according to this guy and his sources.. that 'delayed viewership' combined with 'buzz' made ANDOR S1 a big hit for DISNEY
